Consumers in the UK were asked to rate the importance of certain factors when buying meat during Covid-19, revealing that a long usage date has currently become the most important factor. Price and quantity are the most important factors following long usage date. The brand of product has become 26 percent less important to shoppers and the ease, or speed, of cooking 13 percent less important. Taste has become 13 percent more important to most shoppers, and only two percent less important.
