U.S. adults who have a favorable opinion of Meta 2021, by age group
In late October, Facebook restructured and rebranded itself as Meta while announcing a strategic shift towards the metaverse, a virtual reality project. In November 2021, an online survey conducted in the United States asked respondents if they had a favorable or unfavorable opinion of Meta. The survey found that the majority of all respondents said that they didn't know or held no opinion regarding the company. Overall, 24 percent of respondents in the 65 years and over age group said that they had a very unfavorable opinion of Meta and seven percent of those in the 18 to 34 year old age group stated that they had a very favorable opinion.
