Cashless payment methods distribution in Ukraine 2020-2021, by type
Payments made by Visa or Mastercard accounted for the majority of cashless payments in Ukraine during the observed period, however, the market share of this payment method decreased. As of August 2021, Visa and Mastercard share dropped by more than 20 compared to the previous year. Apple pay, on the other hand, gained over 15 percent of the market share and made up 20 percent of total cashless payments in the country as of August 2021.
