U.S. users who engage with climate action on social media 2021, by generation
As of April 2021, 45 percent of Gen Z (born after 1996) social media users in the United States stated that they engaged with climate change content on social networks. For Millennials, 40 percent of respondents said that they engaged with this content. Only 21 percent of respondents from the Baby Boomer generation and older reported to engage with climate change content vial social channels.
