A survey in the United States in the second quarter of 2021 showed that nearly one in four contractors occasionally purchased online. Five percent of surveyed professionals did it frequently, while another five percent almost always ordered from online channels. One-quarter of respondents interacted with their suppliers exclusively offline.

25.2% HVA/CR (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning);
17.4% roofing/building;
8.7% electrical;
4.8% plumbing;
