Impact of COVID-19 on fresh fruit sales in the U.S. 2020-2021
From the first quarter of 2020 to the second quarter of 2021, the sales of fresh fruits in the U.S. always increased from the previous quarter. This may be a cause of COVID-19, as many people were more likely to cook at home and shop for groceries, and were more wary of their health overall. The biggest increase was in the second quarter of 2020, with U.S. dollar sales increasing over ten percent.
