Smartphone ownership of children by age Germany

In 2022, over 80 percent children aged between 12 and 13 years owned a smartphone. Among younger age groups, the rate of smartphone ownership was lower, with 58 percent of 10- to 11-year-olds and 27 percent of 8- to 9-year-olds calling a smartphone their own.
