This is the largest increase in dollar terms ($21) and amongst the largest percentage increases to date. Medicare Part B (medical insurance) covers medical services like doctors' services, outpatient care, limited outpatient prescription drugs, and some other services Part A doesn't cover. Most beneficiaries do not pay a monthly premium for Medicare Part A (hospital insurance), however, those who sign up for Part D (drug coverage) will incur a monthly premium.
