More than 60 percent of Russians regretted the dissolution of the USSR in December 1991. Over the observed period, that share was the highest at the beginning of the 2000s and the lowest in 2014 and 2015.
The survey was conducted across all Russia in both urban and rural settings, in 137 localities and 50 regions.
