Where consumers buy fresh produce in the U.S. 2020, by channel
A survey asking consumers where they bought fresh produce in 2020 showed that conventional consumers still largely shop at traditional grocery stores. Contemporary consumers, however, shopped via many different channels. More than a quarter of contemporary consumers used some sort of online ordering system for fresh produce and almost 20 percent shopped at a local (nonchain) grocery store.
