Japan: Tankan business sentiment index of financial institutions by institution 2024

The Tankan survey, conducted among financial institutions in Japan from February to March 2024, revealed that financial products transaction dealers evaluated business conditions most positively, with a Diffusion Index (DI) of 57 points.
The Tankan survey stands for the Short-Term Economic Survey of Enterprises in Japan. It is conducted once in three months with the aim of providing an accurate picture of the business trends of enterprises in Japan.
