South Korea: reasons for holiday shopping by age 2022

According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea in November 2022 on consumers holiday shopping behavior, roughly 74.98 percent of respondents aged 45 to 54 years old did holiday shopping because there were many sales going on during that time. This was the leading reason across all age groups. Other common reasons were buying gifts for the holidays, and also enjoying shopping during that season because of the atmosphere and holiday decorations.
