Access rate to drinking water in Tunisia 2021, by governorate
As of 2021, an average of around 98 percent of the population of Tunisia had access to drinking water. The access rate varied across regions and governorates. In the governorates of Tunis, Ariana, Monastir, and Manouba, 100 percent of the households could use safe drinking water sources. On the other hand, the lowest access rate was found in the areas of Kairouan (90.7 percent) and Sidi Bouzid (93.4 percent).
