According to a presidential candidate support poll conducted in South Korea from February 13 to 18, 2022, around 59.9 percent of respondents living in Gwangju/Jeolla intended to vote for Lee Jae-myung (Democratic Party), while around 55.9 percent of respondents living in Daegu/Gyeongbuk intended to vote for Yoon Suk-yeol (People Power Party).
