Share of overseas Filipino workers 2022, by occupation
Between April and September 2022, about 44 percent of overseas workers from the Philippines were working in elementary occupations, which include tasks such as cleaning and basic maintenance of apartments and other commercial establishments, performing simple tasks in food preparation, and delivering goods. In contrast, less than one percent of OFWs worked as skilled agricultural and fishery workers abroad.
