Rakuten Insight in China in November 2023, around 88 percent of female respondents stated that they bought apparel and footwear when holiday shopping. Following were cosmetics and beauty products with approximately 86 percent of women in that survey answering that way. While apparel and footwear was the most popular category among men as well, the following were consumer electronics instead of cosmetics.
