During a survey in the United Kingdom (UK) in December 2021, respondents were asked whether they thought athletes from the UK, who would be taking part in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, should boycott the event. While more than a third of British respondents said they weren't sure, 17 percent stated that Team GB athletes should definitely boycott the Winter Games in Beijing.
