The Chinese messenger and social media app WeChat has achieved about two billion users across the world. Male users accounted for a slightly higher proportion of the total users at 52 percent as of the third quarter of 2023.The super app has become an indispensable tool for the everyday life in China, providing various services from digital payment to online banking, to ride hailing, gaming, and much more.
