The overall cost of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games is estimated to exceed 38.5 billion U.S. dollars, of which the majority was spent on infrastructure, a total of over 20 billion U.S. dollars. The driverless fuxing bullet train, which links Zhangjiakou to the Olympic venues in Beijing cost approximately 9.2 billion U.S. dollars.
