When asked about changes to their approach to fraud in 2022, half of the online merchants worldwide said they had placed a greater emphasis on preventing fraudulent activities and increasing their overall awareness of such occurrences. In contrast, 14 percent of the merchants said they were more focused on sales and less interested in fraud, whereas 13 percent had shifted their attention to enhancing the customer experience.
