Reasons to opt for click & collect in German-speaking countries 2021

In the leading German-speaking economies, attitudes toward click & collect options are quite diversified, as a 2021 survey showed. While around six in ten Austrian consumers claimed to opt for click & collect to save shipping costs, less than half (49 percent) of respondents said the same in Switzerland. Meanwhile, 36 percent of shoppers in Germany said they preferred to pick up their orders in stores as it was more environmentally friendly than other methods. That was also the opinion of 23 percent of Swiss and 24 percent of Austrian respondents.
