Headquarter locations of the most valuable companies in Greater China 2022, by city
In 2022, Beijing was home to the largest number of the 500 most valuable Chinese private companies with 60 well-known brands choosing it as headquarter. Shanghai came to a close second by attracting 55 such enterprises. Ranked by market value, the Internet giant ByteDance was the leading company headquartered in Beijing, followed by the online shopping and food delivery platform Meituan.
