Greater China: most valuable enterprises outside mainland China

In 2021, Taiwan Semiconductor, commonly known as TSMC, was the highest-valued non-mainland Chinese private company, with a market cap of almost 3.7 trillion yuan. In that year, a total of 70 companies from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan were ranked in the 500 most valuable companies in the Greater China region.
