U.S. metaverse familiarity 2022

As of October 2022, 45 percent of surveyed adults in the United States rated their familiarity with the word metaverse as very low. Overall, just under two in ten responding adults stated they were very familiar with the concept of the metaverse in the context of gaming, digital content, and digital entertainment.
