Leading cocoa exporters in Africa by value exported 2021
As of 2021, Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana were Africa's leading cocoa exporters. These countries exported cocoa in a value of nearly 6.2 billion and 3.2 billion U.S. dollars, respectively, ranking them first and third in the world. Other large exporters on the continent were Cameroon and Nigeria, with around 629 million and 622 million U.S. dollars of cocoa exports, respectively.
