Robotics investments and SPACs 2021
In 2021, SoftBank acquired Autostore - a Norwegian warehouse automation company - for around 7.7 billion U.S. dollars, making it the largest robotics investment that year. A merger between the exoskeleton manufacturer Sarcos Robotics and Rotor Acquisition Corp was worth some 1.3 billion U.S. dollars.
