Opinions on development of outpatient psychiatric care France 2021

In 2021, outpatient care of psychiatric patients seemed to be the way to go in France. In this survey conducted in April 2021, 85 percent of respondents stated that outpatient psychiatric care should be more developed. Nearly a third or respondents were absolutely in favor of increasing the offer of outpatient care services for patients with psychiatric disorders. On the other hand, 15 percent of respondents thought psychiatric care should remain within a hospital setting.
