In 2022, the gross regional product of South Korea's Gyeonggi Province amounted to about 547 trillion South Korean won, followed by the capital Seoul with around 486 trillion South Korean won. Gyeonggi and Seoul accounted for almost 50 percent of South Korea 's gross domestic product (GDP) that year.
