Main food crops in Tanzania Zanzibar 2019
Cassava was the main food crop produced in Zanzibar, Tanzania's semi-autonomous archipelago. In 2019, the region registered a cassava output of roughly 177,300 metric tons. That same year, Zanzibar recorded a production of some 65,000 metric tons of bananas and 54,000 metric tons of sweet potatoes.
