Views on Spain's military intervention in Ukraine 2022

According to a survey carried out in February 20222, Spanish public opinion is torn regarding Spain's role in case of a military intervention by the the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in Ukraine due to Russia's invasion of the country. The share of those surveyed who thought that Spain should not join a military intervention was 52 percent, four points larger than those who claimed that the country should intervene alongside NATO. This survey also showed that support for a Spanish military intervention was more widespread among right-wing people.
