The opinion of Ukrainians regarding their country joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) by 2030 differed by region. In June 2023, 93 percent of respondents in western Ukraine would prefer to see their country in NATO in 2030. In eastern Ukraine, 16 percent would be against their country joining the organization by 2030.
