Spending on defense by Spain 2014-2022
In 2021, Spain's defense expenditure was estimated at 14.88 billion U.S. dollars, the highest expenditures since 2014. The following year, the amount fell slightly, to 14.81 billion dollars. Such figures turned Spain into the country with the seventh highest defense expenditure among NATO members.
