Combined defense expenditure of NATO countries 2014-2022
The combined defense expenditure for members of NATO was approximately 1.2 trillion U.S. dollars in 2022, the highest NATO members have collectively spent on defense during the provided time period. During this time period NATO's collective defense spending was lowest in 2015, at 895.68 billion dollars, but has increased every year since then, reaching over one trillion U.S. dollars for the first time in 2019.
