Main importers of Angola's coffee 2019
The European Union was by far the main buyer of Angolan coffee in 2019. That year, Angola exported coffee worth roughly 1.2 million U.S. dollars to the EU, which represented over 80 percent of the total export value. In recent years, Angola has made efforts to resume coffee production, after it strongly decreased during the Angolan Civil War (1975-2002).
