Monthly gas storage volume in the U.S. 2017-2023
Natural gas storage amounted to 6.5 trillion cubic feet in February 2023. This was a higher amount compared to the same month the previous year. The lowest storage volumes are typically recorded at the tail end of the winter months and in early spring and reach peak capacity in the fall.
