Main reasons for decision to replace a product in France 2019
In this survey from 2019, the French respondents have been asked for the main reasons why they decided to replace their broken down products instead of having them repaired. According to the source, 35 percent of respondents stated that the product was too damaged to have it repaired and almost as much claimed that the repair costs would have exceeded the price of a new product. A share of 14 percent of respondents each answered that they wished to purchase a more perfoming product or that they were given a promotion to do so.
