Share of sex trafficking victims in Northern Africa 2003-2022, by age
Between 2003 and 2022, 12 percent of the sex trafficking victims in Northern Africa were aged till 17 years. During this period, 25 percent of the victims of sex trafficking were between 30 and 38 years. Over 55 percent of the victims in the northernmost part of Africa were females. The region accounted for 2.68 percent of the occurring sex trafficking in the world.
