Top firms in corporate venture capital in France in 2020, based on endowment
Money allocated to corporate venture capital in France by Alliance Ventures was four times largest than that of the next firm. The joint venture of Renault, Nissan, and Mitsubishi dedicated one billion euros to investments in startups and in other small, but promising companies in 2020. This made the firm much bigger than most other players in the French combined. The CVC fund of insurer CNP, for example, was estimated to be worth around 100 million euros that year.
