Voting intention in Colombian presidential elections 2022, by region
One month before the Colombian presidential elections of May 2022, 46.4 percent of those surveyed in Bogotá claimed that they would vote for their former mayor and left candidate, Gustavo Petro, if the elections were held the following Sunday. The independent Rodolfo Hernández was remarkably popular in the East-Centre region, where 35.4 percent of Colombians intended to vote for him. Looking at intention vote by age group, it is shown that Hernández is preferred by middle-age voters rather than young ones.
