Africa: perceptions on Russia's influence 2021

Nearly four out of 10 people in Africa considered beneficial Russia's engagement in their countries. According to a survey conducted between 2019 and 2021 in 34 African lands, 35 percent of respondents perceived Russia as a somewhat or very positive economic and political influence. 17 percent of the respondents, on the other hand, felt negative about the Russian influence in their countries.
