Audience share of French-speaking songs at the radio in France from 2017 to 2020
In 2020, the most successful genre for French-speaking music at radio stations in France was rap music. According to the source, 77 percent of rap songs broadcast by radio stations were French-speaking songs. With a share of 70 percent fo French-speaking songs, world music managed to take the lead from rap music (62 percent) in 2018.
