According to the source, Universal's share of songs in the rankings increased over this period, having progressed from 32,5 to 34,9 percent. Having done so, they took from the shares of their competitors, mostly Sony Music (from 25,1 to 23,8 percent) and Warner Music (from 28,5 to 27,6 percent).
