As of 2020, only in four autonomous communities in Spain the dropout rate was equal or lower than ten percent. Ceuta was the region with the largest share of 18 to 24 year old's leaving education, with 25.5 percent. Melilla, Andalusia and Balearic Islands were other Spanish regions with the largest percentage of dropouts.
