
3P online sales of selected marketplaces from Latin America 2020-2021
When comparing third-party online marketplace sales of some of the major Latin American retailers, Mercado Libre stands out as the clear leader in the region. In the first half of 2021, the Argentine company recorded sales of more than 13 billion U.S. dollars, up over 54 percent compared to the same period a year earlier. Among those included in the study, Brazilian companies Americanas S.A., Magazine Luiza, and Via followed, with Chile's Falabella in fifth place.
