Public opinion on energy sources in the U.S. 2021
According to a October 2021 survey, solar and wind energy have the highest approval rating among U.S. Americans, at 52 percent and 47 percent, respectively. By comparison, support for oil energy was higher than for nuclear, while coal had the lowest favorability rating, at 36 percent.
