View on important aspects of rural areas in Japan 2021
According to a survey that was conducted in Japan in August 2021, with over 86 percent, the majority of respondents stated that the most important aspect of rural areas was their role in food production. The second most often stated aspect of importance was their responsibility for landscape management and environmental protection from almost 64 percent of all respondents.
