In 2021, there were about 31.65 thousand licensed drug establishments in the Philippines, nearly 22 thousand of which were drugstores. Among the leading drugstores in the country were The Generics Pharmacy and Mercury Drug. On the other hand, there were over six thousand drug distributors in the country.
