As of September 2022, Indonesians spent around 1.5 thousand Indonesian rupiah for orange and pomelo per week. Despite being one of the largest fruit producers in the world, the fruit consumption in Indonesia remains relatively low. Indonesia's fruit exports also have been lower than its fruit imports.
