Total public worker wages as a share of GDP in Ghana 2019-2022
Ghana government spending on employee wages and salaries covered three percent of its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) as of the second quarter of 2022. This was in the value of approximately 15.2 billion Ghanaian cedis. In the full year 2021, the share reached 6.4 percent, slightly decreasing from the preceding year.
