The United States is the world's leading importer country of natural graphite powder and flakes. In 2022, the North American country imported over 187.37 million U.S. dollars of the mineral. Ranking second was South Korea, which imported some 130.69 million U.S. dollars of graphite. That year, China was the top exporting country of natural graphite worldwide, with an export value that amounted to 359.78 million U.S. dollars.
